Step-by-step instructions for installing the retainer
The first step is to bring the engine to top dead center (TDC) of the first cylinder. To do this, you need to rotate the crankshaft pulley clockwise until the mark on the pulley matches the mark on the timing cover. At the same time, check the position of the marks on the camshafts - they should be directed upwards.
Now you need to fix the flywheel. Through the technological hole in the clutch housing (usually on the right or bottom), insert locking pin into a special hole in the flywheel. This will block the crankshaft from turning. Make sure the pin goes all the way in and securely locks the shaft.
