How to reset errors on ŠKODA Octavia A5: 5 proven methods

5. Method 4: Reset ABS and ESP errors

Errors ABS (00283–01044) and ESP (01279) on Octavia A5 are not reset by disconnecting the battery. To remove them you need a scanner or special procedure:

Algorithm for resetting ABS:
